CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Therefore, we offer our registrants the flexibility to cancel for a partial refund (determined by date of cancelation) or transfer their retreat payment(s), minus cancellation fees, to the next scheduled event. All notice of cancelation or transfer notices, must be sent via email to: Support@SourceCodeMeditation.com

Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover any unforeseen circumstances.


REFUND
• Guests are entitled to a full refund minus a $300 per person administrative cancellation fee with notice given at least 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. No exceptions.
• For cancellations made less than 59 days from the start date of the retreat, guests will receive a credit for their deposit, which can be used for a future Enlightenment & Evolution retreat. No exceptions.

CREDIT
• Guests canceling at least 30 days before the start date of the retreat may transfer their payment(s) to the next Enlightenment & Evolution Retreat, subject to a $350 transfer fee. Official notice must be sent to Support@SourceCodeMeditaiton.com, no exceptions.
• For cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the start date of the retreat, guests may transfer their payment(s) subject to a $750 transfer fee. Official notice must be sent to Support@SourceCodeMeditaiton.com, no exceptions.
• Cancellations made within the 14 day window, prior to the start date of the retreat, will be eligible for a transfer, subject to a $1,500 transfer fee. Official notice must be sent to Support@SourceCodeMeditaiton.com, no exceptions.
• Please note that once a credit transfer has been selected, No monetary refunds will be issued.
• Room upgrade purchases or deposits are Non-Refundable, and there are No refunds or pro-rating for early departures or late arrivals, regardless of circumstances.
• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events.

HEALTH & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Attendee states that they have no physical or medical conditions that would adversely affect their ability to stay at Mar de Jade and participate in the Enlightenment & Evolution Retreat. Attending the E&E Retreat at Mar de Jade is at the risk of the participant and as such Mar de Jade and Higher Brain Living LLC/Source Code Meditation/Dr. Michael Cotton/The New Human University are not liable for any injuries incurred while on property. Mar de Jade is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all guests. However, all clients must assume the risk inherent in travel.

Higher Brain Living LLC and Source Code Meditation and The New Human University (the “Company”), its principals, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, promoters, independent contractors, sponsors, volunteer assistants, and others associated with the Company, or any of them (the “Releasees”)and Mar de Jade is not responsible for any unexpected risks or occurrences including those from weather, terrain, wildlife or other force majeure.

DONATION
If guests are willing to donate their full or partial deposit to Mar de Jade’s non-profit community projects: El Jardin School or Tao de Jade Trade School, Mar de Jade would be extremely grateful, as your donation would go a long way. Your contribution will make a significant difference in providing education for vulnerable youth in the community. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Guests are responsible for all nights reserved at the rates secured. There are no refunds or pro-rating for arriving later or leaving earlier than the reserved dates, despite unforeseen circumstances such as delayed or canceled flights, illness, or injury.
• The cancellation policy applies to all participants, even if the retreat leader can find a replacement for the participant canceling.
• In the case of a cancellation in a shared room, the rate for the remaining participant(s) will be adjusted according to the new occupancy.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these policies.


FORCE MAJEURE
Mar de Jade’s failure to perform any term or condition of this contract as a result of an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond its control such as, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, strikes, riots, fires, floods, epidemics, governmental restrictions, power failures, or damage or destruction of any facility, shall not be deemed a breach of this Contract. Mar de Jade reserves the right to cancel the Group Reservation in case of force majeure. In this event, no refund is possible. Mar de Jade is not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of event cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses. Travel insurance is always recommended. All monies related to outstanding services that could not be performed at Mar de Jade as a result of a force majeure event will be credited to the Retreat leader’s account and can be used at Mar de Jade upon availability within the 18 months following the cancellation notice in the form of a rescheduled group retreat with the same group leader or as a personal vacation.

In the case of force majeure during a retreat, Mar de Jade will take the best course of action to keep all guests safe as decided by management. This may include emergency evacuation and cancellation of the event. Should a group be evacuated, Mar de Jade will make its best efforts to provide an option of safe accommodation to the group as long as necessary at the guests’ expense. The guests or their insurance company will cover all monies associated with room and food costs for the time away from property.
