This Retreat is intended for educational and experiential purposes only. It is not designed to diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical or psychological care. Participants are responsible for consulting with a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical or mental health concerns.

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, “Retreat Parties” includes Dr. Michael Cotton, The New Human University, Source Code Meditation, all affiliated organizations, faculty, staff, contractors, volunteers, and the retreat venue and its personnel.

By participating, you assume full responsibility for your participation and well-being and agree that the Retreat Parties shall not be held liable for any outcomes, injuries, or damages that may arise from participation in the Retreat.


TERMS & CONDITIONS MODIFICATION
We reserve the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. By participating in the Retreat, you agree to be bound by the most current version in effect.


PAYMENT TERMS
All retreat payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment, whether paid in full or through a payment plan.

If a participant elects a payment plan, all scheduled payments must be completed in full and on time prior to attending the Retreat. Failure to complete any scheduled payment will result in immediate suspension or revocation of access to the Retreat, without refund or credit.

Access to the Retreat is contingent upon full payment. All balances must be paid in full prior to the start of the Retreat.

In the event of a declined payment, chargeback, or payment dispute, the Retreat Parties reserve the right to revoke access to the Retreat immediately and pursue any outstanding balance owed.


CANCELLATION POLICY
All payments are non-refundable.
Transfers to a future retreat are permitted only if requested at least 45 days prior to the scheduled start date of the Retreat. All transfers are subject to a $300 transfer fee.

Any request made less than 45 days prior to the Retreat start date, including cancellation or non-attendance, is not eligible for transfer, credit, or exception. A new registration is required to attend a future retreat.

Retreat registrations are non-transferable between individuals under any circumstance.

Participants transferring to a future retreat are responsible for any difference in pricing at the time of rebooking.

COPYRIGHT NOTICE
All content and materials provided in connection with the Retreat, including but not limited to written materials, workbooks, recordings, teachings, trademarks, logos, graphics, and images (the “Materials”), are the intellectual property of the Retreat Parties and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

These Materials are provided for personal use only. Participants may not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, publish, or otherwise use the Materials, in whole or in part, for any commercial or non-commercial purpose without prior written permission from the Retreat Parties.

Unauthorized use of the Materials will result in removal from the Retreat without refund and may be subject to legal action.


RETREAT TERMS
The Retreat Parties reserve the right to remove any participant from the Retreat at any time if their behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, or non-compliant, including but not limited to conduct that is not aligned with the integrity of the Retreat. In such cases, access to the Retreat will be revoked without refund or credit.

Participants are expected to attend the Retreat in full. No refunds, credits, or adjustments will be issued for partial attendance, early departure, late arrival, or failure to attend any portion of the Retreat.


GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising out of or related to the Retreat shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within the State of Illinois.
